Would you like to start a teacher training course? You can find out whether the planned course of study with the corresponding choice of profession might be suitable for you by means of the online test process on the portal "Teacher training course in Baden-Württemberg – Self test and information" ( "Lehramtsstudium in Baden-Württemberg – Selbst-Test und Informationen"). The test is carried out anonymously. Only you are able to view the evaluation of your answers.
In addition, the portal provides extensive information on teacher training, on the costs for your course of studies and information on the individual admission procedures. An estimation of how many teachers are likely to be needed in the coming years is also provided.
Please note that the orientation process for those studying to teach at a Gymnasium is specified as a requirement for admission from the winter semester of 2010/12 and for all other teacher training courses from the winter semester of 2011/12. I.e. you will thus have to attach the confirmation that you have done the test to your application documents.
Procedure
The orientation process is provided on the website of the “Career Counselling for Teachers" (CCT). Log in to this website with a code and then start the test straight away. As the test is made up of several sections, you can stop in between and then continue at a later date.
Once you have completely filled in the test, you will get an evaluation. A general confirmation that you have carried out the test will be issued upon request, regardless of the evaluation.
Costs
Participation, evaluation and confirmation of the test are free of charge.
